FAMILY REUNION 2003

 

 

1.      The 3rd Rios Family Reunion is scheduled for Saturday June 28 2003, sponsored by Mario and Josephine Coronado.  This Memo outlines the responsibilities, requirements, and activities that will take place.

 

2.      The Reunion is designed to give all our family Members an opportunity for fun, food and games. The day can start at 0830 at the Coronado residence  600 East Route 30, Rock Falls, Illinois.   (815) 626-5916.

 

 

3.      Coordinating Instructions:

 

  1. Location:  Mario & Josie’s Place,  9:00 – 10:30 AM Registration table.
  2. RED TEAM:  Will wear an arm Read ribbon.
  3. BLUE TEAM:  Will wear an arm Blue Ribbon.
  4. Activity announcements: 11:00AM
  5. Games: 12:00 – 5:00PM (all participants and family members).
  6. Lunch: 2:00 PM
  7. Awards:  6:00PM.

 

4.      The “ELDERS” are encouraged to inform their family and to participate in this year’s reunion activities.

 

5.      General Instructions:

 

 

  1. A registration fee of $5.00 per person will be collected prior or at the time of the event.  The money collected will be used for door prizes, Championship Trophies, Individual Trophies and Awards, portable toilets and other requirements approved by the elected officers. Unused funds will go to the Treasurer for next year.

 

  1. Games will have a numeric value.  Member participants from one team will play against the other.  Each Team will coordinate participants for each game category.  An “ELDER” will be appointed as a referee and scorekeeper for each game category.

 

  1. The elected administration will provide the meat (s) for the picnic style dining.  Family members are encourage to bring ice, cups, flatware, napkins, beverage of choice, and …chairs

 

  1. It is highly recommended that shoes (any type) be worn at all times. A medical first aid person will be  available at all times during the Day.

 

  1. Persons under 21 years of age are not allowed to drink on the premises.  Parents are responsible for own children.

 

 

 

6.       Reunion activity responsibilities are outlined below;

LUCY-& SPOUSE------------------ volleyball

VICTORIA & SPOUSE-------------basketball, and free-throw competition 

LUIS & SPOUSE--------------------Crawling Competition     

ROSE &               --------------------Dizzy bats race  (2 person teams)

ANNETTE & SPOUSE--------------Water balloon toss.

 

NOTE:  Each “ELDER” is responsible for the setup and control of their events.  Each Team Captain,  will provide a team to participate in each event.  The “Elders” will vote for one female and one male to be the King and Queen of the 2003 Reunion.  Character traits of candidates must show friendliness and amiable.

 

7.      Point system will be used to determined the 2003 Reunion Champions, The following is the numeric value for each event:

 

10 Points………………………..Crawling race

10 Points-----------------------------Three legged race

10 Points-----------------------------Water balloon toss

10 Points----------------------------.Two on Two basketball and Free-throw competition

10 Points-----------------------------Dizzy Bat Race

20 Points-----------------------------Tug-Of-War

 

8.      Tasking:

 

  1. Cathy Coronado responsibilities include:

 

1.  Act as the purchasing agent for meats and more.

 

 2. Coordinate with cooks to prepare food.

 

 3. Assist in cooking

1.      Set up a first aid station
